# SINOTRUK HOWO-NX 430HP 8×4 Tractor Head — Brief Introduction ## What it is The **HOWO-NX 430 HP 8×4 tractor** is SINOTRUK's **new-generation, value-for-money 12-wheel prime mover** — the modern NX cab (with its signature honeycomb grille you saw in the photo) bolted onto the proven WD/WP12 running gear. It is the **newer, more comfortable replacement** for the classic HOWO-7 371 HP 8×4 tractor, aimed at West African and other axle-weight-regulated markets where a two-axle-steer, four-axle tractor is required to legally pull heavy semi-trailers. Think of it as: **same tough bones as the old HOWO-7, but with a newer cab, more power (430 vs 371 HP) and better driver comfort**.
